Service (from Simon Bowen)

Dear friends of Thomas Hübl and the Academy of Inner Science,

We live in exciting times! There exists a movement or impulse inside many of us which beckons us to do more with our lives than simply focusing upon our own happiness and security. This is a call to become an adventurer – to step outside of our comfort zone and to do something extraordinary with the gifts we have been given.

A core principle of all the main spiritual traditions is service or giving back. This is our contribution for a better world and also facilitates our own individual journey of awakening. Service is at the heart of our work in the team and is integral to Thomas’ teachings.

The work of Thomas and the Academy is expanding. One of my roles as Thomas’ manager is to ensure that we have the sufficient resources to achieve success with our different projects.  Income from our various workshops and training groups is largely re-allocated in setting up new initiatives and in supporting ‘not for profit’ events such as the Celebrate Life Festival and Healing Events; whilst we also support the humanitarian project Hands with Hands.

We cannot achieve everything alone! We rely upon the voluntary support from people who feel motivated to work with us.

Do you have time and energy to support us in our work? There are several ways in which you can make a difference…

 Taking initiative

At the time of writing I am overseeing 18 different projects. Each new project requires an individual Project Manager; someone who takes on the responsibility to see a project successfully through to completion.

Are you such a person? Do you have an idea for a project or event and have the required skills, time and commitment to bring it to fruition? Please email me with an outline of your idea, your skills and experience and any other relevant information. THINK BIG!!!

I look forward to hearing from you and supporting you in making your idea happen!

Other ways to volunteer

If you cannot imagine yourself as a Project Manager, here are some other ways that you can contribute…

FUNDRAISING

Of course we are always grateful to receive offers from anyone who feels drawn to support our work financially. If you wish to support an existing or planned project please email me. You can also support our work via the not for profit Global Awareness Association e.V. – see

www.globalawareness.info.

NETWORKING

We are always interested in connecting with people, groups, companies and organisations that could support, fund or collaborate with us in any way. Please email me if you know of anybody that you think it would be interesting for us to connect with – or ask them to contact me directly.

Please briefly describe your relationship to them and how you think they could support our work.

TECHNIK-TEAM

Our technical team is always interested in hearing from anybody who is interested in supporting them at events. For further information please contact Mona:

ARCHIVING AND TRANSCRIBING

We have accumulated a large library of audio recordings from Thomas’ workshops, talks and seminars, both in English and German. For someone with the time and an interest in deepening their connection to these teachings, we offer you the opportunity to access these recordings with the purpose of archiving them and transcribing important extracts into text. This is also a chance to be creative by making special compilation CDs around specific topics. If you are interested please email Mona: This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. HANDS WITH HANDS

If you are interested in supporting the project Hands with Hands please check out the website at www.handswithhands.org or contact Kira Kay directly - This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it (Kira only speaks English).
