Thomas Hübl is with a group of 40 participants on trip in Israel to explore the deep acienct mysticism and its implications for todays life.
Efrat Sar-Shalom, spiritual leader and instructor, has hosted prayers for peace worldwide and is a member of the Forum for Peace. Together with her husband, Seffi Hanegbi, they founded "Zman Midbar"; a spiritual ecological site for peace, located in the Judean desert, Israel.

Auroville needs help after storm damage
Auroville is a south Indian urban community near Pondicherry with about 2,000 inhabitants. The community is based on the spiritual insights and social theories of the mystic Sri Aurobindo, and the related teachings of The Mother. In December 2011 a cyclone in the region caused serious, and extensive, damage . Many trees were uprooted and the infrastructure has been severely affected. As if by a miracle, the center of the community, the Matrimandir (see picture), was left almost entirely unaffected, The latest estimates from Auroville are that 800,000 Euro in emergency funds will be needed over the next twelve months. The cost of long-term reconstruction is currently estimated at over 2 million Euro.
This unique project, recognized by the UNESCO as a "universal" city, now urgently needs help to rebuild.

Collective Download Meditation for Peace in Middle East

(at the end of the Israel-Trip from February 9th - 20th)
"Dear Friends,
With this meditation we will concentrate on the region of Israel, Palestine and the Middle East, to contribute to peace in the world. As many of you probably know great tensions are condensed in this region right now with the potential that these conflicts may radiate globally. A move towards more peace in this region is a great contribution to peace in the world. From 9th to 20th of February we are travelling with a group of 40 participants through Israel and the Palestinian territories. We will investigate how and on which levels we do have an influence and what spiritual peace work means.
This meditation will take place at the end of our journey. We want to focus our group energy to the situation in the Middle East.
Anyone who feels addressed is invited to join in.

Collective Meditation - Download-Meditation to Europe
Tuesday, 20th of December at 21.00 h CET (Central European Time)
Every first and third Tuesday of each month a meditation with Thomas Hübl takes place from 9 PM to 9.45 PM (Central Europe Time). This Tuesday the meditation is dedicated to the the further development of the European Union.
"We want to contribute to the further development of the European Union with the next collective meditation on 20th December. We see a crisis dawning which appears to be primarily economic and political. However, it is also a social and spiritual crisis.
So many people are complaining about the economy, politics and the state of life. And they are contributing to the existing circumstances in their negative and anxious expectations for the future. We need people who let their light shine and who apply their creativity and their inherent power. These people can find creative solutions together to face the questions of our time."

First season Sangha 2.0 practice groupleader training completed!
At the end of November the last part of the first training series took place in Bad Meinberg. More than 30 participants were certified as practice group leaders.
The earlier sharing groups are now called practice groups. Here the work of Sharing the Presence takes place on site. To conduct such a group it is required to attend a comprehensive training three weekends.
Currently in 16 cities in Germany, Austria, Switzerland and in four locations in North America are such groups. An overview is here
Susanne Ahlendorf, Vivan Kolbe and Axel Perinchery formed the three-member team. They created a new kind of leadership by placing their trust in a higher power and by inviting the light which acts through each individual.

The World Culture Festival took place on the occasion of the 30-annual-celebration of the "International Art of Living Foundation" initiated by Sri Sri Ravi Shankar.
Peace ambassadors from all over the world recited a "Message to the World" in Olympiastadion, Berlin. Thomas Hübl invited thousands to join him in a very special toning. Shankar chose Berlin for this event because of “the city's extraordinary history, its central position in Europe and for the city's very spiritual people”, he says.

Current article by Thomas Hübl about “Spiritual Competence”
As an answer to the paper of the Integral Forum on the discussion about spiritual teachers.
Can the quality of a spiritual teacher be measured? With what criteria can teachers be rated - concerning competence, integrity, responsibility and transparency ? What does a healthy and beneficial teacher-student relationship look like?
Sparked by the discussion about (alleged or real) abuse of students by spiritual teachers, the IF board of directors formulated a position paper to demark the position of the organization on these issues. This paper articulates both our ethical premises for ourselves and our work, as well as explicit criteria for spiritual teachers and people in positions of leadership. Parallel to this the idea of a "School of Integral Spirituality" arose, as a forum for an encounter of broad science and spirituality.
