Democracy from below via Internet

500,000 supporters in 36 hours for an anti-corruption law in India - the Indian government gives in after four days. This is an example of a successful regional operation by Avaaz in October 2011 - one of many.

About ten million people in 193 countries are members and affect regional and international political and economic decisions.
Since 2007 they are committed to protect the environment, to respect human rights, to reduce poverty, corruption and war. They have built a global virtual democratic structure unparalleled elsewhere.
Avaaz uses the Internet for rapid mobilization of people and resources. With three mouse-clicks anyone can participate in its activities.

A willingness to donate meets those who need to receive

At betterplace.org people who want to help directly through donations meet the people who need their help. The Internet is the ideal platform to bring together supply and demand - not just by making bids but also by finding the next job or the perfect partner!
The creators of the site are convinced that the commitment of every individual is essential, beyond a few major political decision-makers.

Everybody has the means to contribute - with time, money, within their circle of acquaintances, with an amount large or small. "I’ve barely 10 Euros left-over every month" means that you can still pay one Euro for a schoolbook in Africa.
Many small things make a big difference in the world.

Peacemakers from the inside

"In every conflict there are local people who promote peace, stop violence and save lives. Peace Direct promotes this work. Our vision is a world where the locals themselves are suppported to solve their own conflicts."

Peace Direct provides direct connection to people in conflict areas through a global network. New local perspectives become visible - people become closer.

In 2003 Peace Direct was founded by Scilla Elsworthy, who has dedicated her life to peace work and has been nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize three times. In 2010 and 2011 Scilla was an invited guest at the Celebrate Life Festival.

Support for the poorest in India

"As long as I have eyes to see the misery in this world, as long as I have ears to hear about the poverty, as long as I have a heart to feel the existing suffering, I will not stop to be there for a just and peaceful world."
(Judith Retz, who initiated the project)

The vision of Heart Kids is to give children a happy childhood with lots of warmth and affection that need it most. In India there are many children who desperately need a roof over their head and a thick serving of food for the body and the soul.

Transparency for expectant parents - a glimpse into the emergence life

TransParents offers a comprehensive service for deepening bonds within the family.

It is an opportunity for pregnant women and fathers-to-be to experience the child's world inside the womb and the structure of family relationships.

"As humans we are social beings, our development and happiness is essentially based on our capacity for relationship. The results of psychological research show that babies are already in the womb with their own inner life. The development of our children and the resulting family is initiated before birth, to meet our basic need for connection."

AIS Magazin

Magazine of Inner Science

An idea becomes a newspaper

The "Magazine of Inner Science" reports on the field around Thomas Hübl and the Academy of Inner Science. In the latest issue two travel reports were published: the Timeless Wisdom Training was in a retreat in October 2010 in Nepal, and in February 2011 30 people visited spiritual sites in Israel with Thomas Hübl. The theme of what it means to live as a "the modern mystic" runs through the entire magazine.
The magazine is the beginning of a regular publication. The beautifully designed booklets are very popular!
The idea originated as a project in the Timeless Wisdom Training. There have been three issues: at the Celebrate Life Festival 2009, 2010 and 2011.
The Team 2011 is: Nadine Rumpler (editorial management, advertising), Tom Stelling (deputy editorial management, finance, editing), Edith Hinum (editing, proofreading), Berthold Gander (layout), Noa Lerner (design).
The magazine continues - we aim for two issues per year - with a circulation of 5,000. Order here

Powerpoint meets improvisational theater

The integral Roadshow by Martin Bruders and Axel Perincheryhas emerged as a project in the first Timeless Wisdom Training.

It provides information and entertainment on the development of consciousness. Content includes integral theory, the AQAL model, and Spiral Dynamics - all presented in a lively and spectacular way. And audience participation is invited. With lots of humor, Powerpoint is combined with improvisation and communication to invite people to explore different perspectives. The show leads to a new understanding of reality, through a mixture of information, improvisational theater, dialogue and participation.
