Celebrate Life Festival 2011

Review: Celebrate Life Festival 2011

MYSTICISM TODAY - On the way to a global spirituality

On 7th of August the 10-day-event ended with a toning-meditation.

It was an intense and relaxed time of spiritual impulse, inter-communion, meditation and celebration together with many hundreds of people.
All contributors and artists gave their work for no fee. Many of them extended their stay to be longer amongst us in the festival-field.

Celebrate Life Festival - Halle   Core questions have been:

  • What does spiritual longing, a longing for God look like in the 21st century?
  • What is the role of traditions in a global consciousness?
  • How do evolutionary and traditional spirituality fertilize each other?
  • And which potentials, which limitations do we perceive?

Pia Gyger und Niklaus Brantschen

Guest speakers of this year's Celebrate Life Festival (amongst others):

Thanks to their spiritual bilingualism (Zen and Christian mysticism) the Zen masters Niklaus Brantschen and Pia Gyger from the Lassalle-Institute are motivating us to co-create the world in its development. They consider the "Jerusalem - Projekt“ a test case of a transition from war culture to peace culture. One of the instruments is the formation of a spiritual-political field. This is based on the fact that everything we are thinking, speaking and doing affects the present and future world.
